Time to worry! Alhaji Datijo Aliyu, Health commissioner in Niger State is worried that despite the increase in awareness about HIV/AIDS in the State, the number of people living with the disease has risen from 3% from three to 7% with the State having the largest number of people living with HIV/AIDS in the country. According to him, no fewer than 259,920 people out of the state population of 3.7million are estimated to be living with HIV/AIDS.
